As air enters your body, it gets filtered, first as it passes through your nose and then again as it enters your lungs, before entering your bloodstream.

Your body works hard to filter and process the air you breathe, but it’s not a foolproof system.

It’s easy to notice the short-term problems linked to poor air quality. Things like sore throats, coughs, and sneezing.

The pollutants that make it past your body’s filters, however, can build up in your organs and cause serious problems over time – like asthma, heart disease, or even cancer.

As you might guess, one of the best ways to avoid respiratory problems, and enjoy a long and healthy life, is by breathing clean air. It’s just good for you!
